Welcome to Settle Church of England Primary School!

We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find any information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.

Settle CE Primary is a forward thinking, dynamic school that currently caters for children ages 3-11. In September 2012 we had a new classroom extension built allowing us to retain a Year Six.

We are the most popular primary school in the North Craven area though we are still considered a 'small school' in national terms. Currently we have 206 pupils on roll, including Nursery Provision for up to 26pupils.

We average 24 pupils per class and have one of the best staff to pupil ratios in the area.

We have an established reputation for offering outstanding special needs support to local families and have comprehensive intervention strategies in place to support our children. We also have a proud track record for pupil achievement and often our pupils achieve above national standards.

We have a very successful Early Years Foundation Stage rated as Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted and offer a single age class structure throughout the school. We offer a breakfast club, after school club and holiday club for busy parents at very affordable prices. We appreciate that many working families struggle with inflated childcare costs and  endeavour to offer a first class service and cost price. There is no school or provision in the area that offers better value to its families. All services are exclusive to families whose children attend Settle Primary School.
The school offers a wide range of sporting activities and outdoor learning opportunities too, making the most of it's location in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The school has a strong Christian ethos and prides itself on it's Care and Guidance , which is considered by Ofsted to be Outstanding.

Thank you you for visiting our site and for showing an interest in our school.
